Most of the images taken with the Casio 3000EX and the OpticZoom 5x Telephoto Lens only need cropping to a size of around 1800 x 1300 to remove the darkened edges at the extremes of the image. This still leaves a very large image size wholly suitable for upto A4 prints Many people may consider that cropping is not even necessary Photographs are re-sized to 800 x 600 (approx) only to speed up web page loading
The following handheld photographs have been re-sized & heavily compressed only -No Cropping. The minor extent of edge darkening that is experienced with the Casio & OpticZoom 5x Telephoto Lens can be seen. They were taken with a chain link fence in the line of sight, between the camera and subject The shutter speed & f-stop information from the original images is shown.
